Digital learning platforms increasingly depend on web interfaces to present learning resources, activities, feedback, and progress information. However, a technically functional platform does not necessarily provide an engaging learning experience. This test study presents a practical framework for improving digital learning engagement through adaptive web-interface design. The framework combines responsive layouts, progressive disclosure of information, personalized recommendations, visible progress indicators, accessibility-oriented interaction patterns, and lightweight feedback mechanisms. A simulated pilot evaluation with 60 learners was used only to demonstrate how the framework can be evaluated in a journal workflow. The illustrative results indicate improvements in task completion, perceived usability, and reported engagement when the adaptive interface is compared with a conventional static interface. The study emphasizes that interface adaptation should remain transparent, predictable, and user-controlled. The proposed framework can serve as a practical starting point for educational institutions and developers designing web-based learning environments.
